Berlin City Auto Group seeks an Advanced Express Technician in Portland, ME to perform routine maintenance and light repairs while advancing toward a full-line technician role. Starting pay is $25.00-$27.00 per hour with growth opportunities and a defined career path.

Responsibilities include oil changes, tire services, brake work, alignments, battery replacement, and diagnostic support. You will collaborate with service advisors to meet standards and document findings for accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with favorable motor vehicle record
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical duties in an automotive shop environment

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repairs to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and other routine maintenance.
• Inspect tires for wear or damage and perform mounting, balancing, replacement.
• Inspect brakes and replace pads, rotors, and related components.
• Perform wheel alignments and check steering or suspension concerns.
• Test and replace batteries and perform basic electrical system checks.
• Document findings and provide accurate labor estimates.
• Road-test vehicles as appropriate to verify repairs and performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
