Job summary

Geisinger’s Advanced Endoscopy Center is seeking a gastroenterologist to join our team at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. The role focuses on advanced endoscopic procedures and research within a leading integrated health system.

You will collaborate with a diverse group of gastroenterologists, APPs, and pharmacists while contributing to fellowship education and patient care excellence. The position supports a robust academic environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and PA license to practice.
• Education includes MD/DO; required for Advanced Endoscopy role.
• Strong clinical skills in gastroenterology and endoscopy are expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures (EUS, ERCP, POEM, EMR, ESD, etc.).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in education of fellows, residents and students.
• Engage in clinical, translational, and outcomes research within Geisinger's enterprise.
