We're hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities:
AEMTs conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, medical history, and physical examination findings, determine appropriate clinical interventions based on these assessments, and deliver emergency medical services by utilizing advanced medical techniques, specialized equipment, and evidence-based protocols.
Accurately document all patient information, clinical assessments, treatments administered, and patient outcomes in medical records and incident reports while adhering to HIPAA regulations, maintaining confidentiality, and protecting patient privacy rights.
Maintain a safe, clean, and properly stocked ambulance and equipment by conducting pre-shift vehicle inspections, restocking medical supplies, cleaning and sanitizing equipment between patient contacts, and reporting maintenance needs to ensure readiness for emergency response.
Utilize appropriate AEMT clinical skills to provide patient care including effective patient and team communications, operation and maintenance of medical equipment, adherence to infection control and cleaning procedures, and proficient use of office equipment and field tools.
EMTs safely operate ambulances and emergency medical response vehicles in full compliance with company safety policies, state and federal traffic laws, defensive driving practices, and emergency vehicle operation standards to ensure patient and public safety.
Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AEMTs.
Other Responsibilities:
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
MinimumRequired Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
State AEMT License
State Driver's License
BLS, NREMT
Driving record compliant with company policy
Pass Physical Agility Test
Some work experience, preferably healthcare
Preferred Qualifications:
Related experience in healthcare
