Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service, Inc. is seeking EMTs/Paramedics to join a large Midwest EMS provider with multiple Ohio locations including Springfield. You will deliver high-quality patient care during transport and complete precise documentation for medical records and billing.

Openings include full-time or part-time schedules with opportunities for overtime. A valid EMT/Paramedic license and driving record are required, along with successful pre-employment screening and training

Qualifications

• EMT National Registry and/or state license (or pending).
• Ability to provide medical care at the EMT or Paramedic level during patient transport.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Pass a pre-employment interview including a physical and lifting examination and a drug screening.
• Attend company-provided training and driving course.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care as stipulated in training as an EMT.
• Provide safe transportation and accurate map reading to locate addresses.
• Assess a patient and convey condition to other medical professionals.
• Provide an accurate written report of patient condition, medical history, and treatment.
• Provide documentation for billing information.
• Maintain the vehicle in sanitary condition and monitor fluids/gauges.

Superior also provides Critical Care, helicopter, and fixed-wing emergency medical transportation.

EMTs and Paramedics provide safe transportation and quality medical care to sick and injured individuals within the scope of state EMS regulations. Superior provides the highest quality care in emergency and scheduled medical transports.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of the AEMT consist of, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide appropriate patient care as stipulated in their training as an EMT.
• Provide safe transportation, to include accurately discerning street names through map reading, the ability to correctly distinguish house numbers, and addresses of business locations, in the most expedient manner, are essential.
• Appropriately assess a patient and accurately convey the condition to other medical professionals.
• Provide an accurate written report describing a patient's condition, medical history, and the treatment provided.
• Provide appropriate documentation for billing information.
• Maintain the vehicle in sanitary condition, in addition to monitoring all fluid levels and gauges.
