Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Engineering Technician in Canonsburg, PA to support electronics testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostic activities for manufacturing and engineering teams. The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent and at least 3 years of component-level electronics experience, with proficiency in analog and digital circuitry and a range of test equipment.

U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant component-level electronics experience.
• Solid knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuitry.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing and engineering testing using test programs, multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, diagnostic equipment, and specialized test apparatus.
• Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics to support testing, troubleshooting, and technical activities.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose component-level electronics and test failures to determine root causes.
• Collect and analyze test data and report results in prescribed formats.
• Prepare failure analysis reports and associated technical documentation as required.
• Design and construct basic tooling, fixtures, and test setups to support manufacturing and diagnostic needs.
• Organize, analyze, and interpret technical data to identify cause-and-effect relationships.
• Recommend corrective actions and process improvements based on testing and analysis.
• Assist with design, modification, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations Support, and other departments to improve processes.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI tools and technologies to continuous improvement.
