Qualifications

What awaits you:
  1. Adhere to IATF16949 work instructions
  2. Adhere to ISO14001 work instructions and training
  3. Read and follow all job-related work instructions
  4. Observe & follow all safety procedures and guidelines when performing work to avoid injury to self and other employees
  5. Repair/rebuild electric motors (except rewinding stators and armatures)
  6. Troubleshoot/repair induction furnaces, mold unit, hydraulic systems
  7. Repair of Electric Overhead cranes and Hoists (Electrical and Mechanical, except welding)
  8. Repair of Low voltage and voltage controls up to 480 volts
  9. Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams
  10. Must be able to make conduit runs and layout electrical cabinets
What you will need to succeed:
  1. High School Diploma or GED required
  2. Master Electrician Certification or associate’s degree in electrical or electronics or Industrial Electricity Certificate or Equivalent required
  3. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of industrial experience in trade or Master Electrician License
  4. Experience with low voltage & voltage controls up to 480 volts
  5. Understand PLC controls
  6. Knowledge of Electronic Instrumentation (E.G. Temperature Controllers, Chart Recorders, I/P and P/I Converters, Variable Frequency Drives, Etc.)
  7. Demonstration of competency with various electrical testing procedures
  8. Experience with Allen Bradley Rockwell Software (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, and RS Linx), PLC-5 and SLC500 hardware
  9. Must have basic computer skills for work order entry and completion
  10. Must be able to obtain a forklift, articulating boom lift and scissor lift licenses from company licensing program
  11. Provide own tools (personal hand tools)
  12. Lead projects and define appropriate work scope for improvements/repairs
  13. Train/Mentor other electricians and apprentices
