Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration seeks a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiographic exams, including head, neck, spine, chest and body, using contrast materials, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

The incumbent will perform general radiography, operating room radiography, and CT, adhering to ARRT standards and VA policies, with emphasis on clinical competency and independent work where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Certification in general radiologic technology by ARRT (R) is required.
  • Completion of a full-time 24-month radiologic technology program evidenced by certificate or an associate's degree.
  • English language proficiency per VA policy.
  • Advanced ARRT certification is required for CT/MRI/Mammo duties.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT of the head, neck, spine, chest and body using contrast materials.
  • Conduct radiographic examinations in general radiography, operating room radiography, and CT.
  • Aim to achieve diagnostic studies that support proper diagnosis and treatment.
