The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, at least 3 years of experience in acute care, and be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. BLS certification within 14 days of hire is required.

Formación

• 3 years’ experience in current unit or specialty area, or 4 years’ experience in acute care hospital.
• Provides evidence of 6 clinical nursing education contact hours attained during the previous 12 months.
• RN with BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patients based on their medical condition.
• Administers medications as prescribed.
• Formulates teaching plans based on identified learning needs.
• Assists physicians with procedures and performs technical services.
