Position Summary

This position will act as an expert clinical and education resource; staff and leadership development consultant; and Utilization Management content expert for staff, leaders, physicians, and customers across the ePH Utilization Management.

This position will assist with the design and implementation of onboarding for newly hired staff and leaders to ensure they are knowledgeable about Dignity Health processes, regulatory requirements, and their roles. It involves training on clinical applications and essential job functions, utilizing technology for remote and in-person teaching, and developing educational programs to enhance patient experience, reduce readmissions, and support resource utilization.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Expertise in Utilization Management, Home Health, and Hospice with 5+ years experience.
• Knowledge in case management, utilization management, and social services.
• At least 2 years of education/training and management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, or equivalent.
• Active RN or SW license.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in instructional material development and various training formats.
• Analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, or related field (highly preferred).
