  • Independently interpret method performance, identify trends and anomalies, and communicate clear findings and recommendations.
  • Design and execute experiments in collaboration with Scientists and Engineers to support product development, customer needs, and manufacturing challenges.
  • Identify opportunities to improve method capability, efficiency, data quality, and equipment reliability.
  • Resolve equipment‑ and method‑specific technical problems and engage broader technical expertise when challenges extend beyond the assigned capability.
  • Maintain high‑quality procedures, method‑development reports, equipment records, electronic data, and laboratory notebooks. Provide method or equipment training as needed.
  • Utilize statistical tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab) to support data‑driven decisions
  • Communicate technical findings, limitations, and recommendations to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Work safely in an R&D environment, actively participate in company and site safety programs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands‑on experience with mechanical and thermal testing, gained through industrial work, academic research, internships, or equivalent laboratory experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently solve problems with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
  • Working knowledge of statistical methods.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe laboratory practices
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry.
  • Knowledge of polymer physics and the thermomechanical properties of polyurethanes, thermosets, or porous composite structures.
  • Experience with Python or MATLAB, or comparable scientific computing for data processing, analysis, visualization, automation, or modeling.
  • Familiarity with data systems, databases, and collaborative platforms such as SharePoint.
