Job summary

You will work in a setting handling advanced illnesses with a focus on patient safety, family communication, and continuous nursing vigilance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Alabama RN license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification current; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for some areas.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient care in a hospital setting for patients with complex conditions.
• Utilizes assessment data to respond to rapidly changing conditions and adjust care plans.
• Coordinates care and delegates tasks to team members while maintaining patient safety.
• Documents care and coordinates with interdisciplinary team to meet regulatory standards.
• Acts as patient and family advocate and maintains compassionate, therapeutic environment.
