  • Graduation from an accredited sonography program or equivalent experience.
  • Less than 1 year of experience.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and perform basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound studies.
  • Prepare patients, obtain clinical history, and adapt imaging for diagnostic echocardiograms.
  • Record measurements and report findings to ensure accurate interpretation.
  • Assist physicians in procedure rooms and support complex procedures when required.
  • Maintain echocardiography laboratory equipment and adhere to protocols.
