Job summary

UTMB Health in Galveston, TX seeks an Advanced Cardiac Imaging cardiologist at Assistant Professor level or higher to join the Sealy Heart & Vascular Institute. The role centers on multimodality imaging, including cardiac MRI and CT, with potential research support and protected time.

The ideal candidate will be board-certified or eligible in ABIM, have completed a structured advanced cardiac imaging fellowship, and hold or obtain a Texas medical license.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in ABIM.
• Structured advanced cardiac imaging fellowship spend with focus on multi-modality imaging.
• Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced cardiac imaging program with emphasis on cardiac MRI and CT.
• Provide inpatient consultative services with a modest ambulatory presence.
• Support start-up research and protected scholarly time based on prior achievements.
• Collaborate within SHVI and UTMB Health to advance clinical care and education.
