Job summary

Colégios Embraer seeks an experienced technician for advanced electrical, hydraulic, avionic, and electromechanical systems maintenance in line with FCC, FAA, and company regulations. You will test, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair components including navigation, radar, communication, instrumentation, hydraulic and landing gear systems to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostics with technicians, following approved procedures, maintaining FAA documentation,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of aircraft avionics maintenance experience.
• FAA A&P certification preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Soldering and circuit board repair skills.
• Experience with diagnostic and repair tasks on avionics LRUs.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and overhauls avionics components and accessories per FAA and OEM procedures.
• Perform diagnostic, repair and overhaul tasks with technicians and specialists.
• Carry out complex repairs with supervision.
• Follow manuals and use proper tools for avionics repairs including landing gear and brake systems.
• Follow work orders to ensure documentation per FAA requirements.
• Monitor parts shortages and assist in ordering materials.
• Coordinate with Lead to schedule third-party vendor tasks.
• Communicate tooling requirements to Lead or Supervisor.
