Job summary

Lia Hyundai Hartford is seeking an A/A+ level Automotive Technician to join our team. The role offers a competitive compensation range and opportunities for growth in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Sign-on bonus up to $4,000 based on experience and/or certifications; state inspection certification required; ASE certification recommended. Applicants should have 3+ years of service technician experience and be proficient with diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Service Technician experience required.
• Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair experience required.
• State Inspection certification required.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
