Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring an Automotive Technician in Ellicott City, MD. This full-time, flat-rate role offers a 75% hour guarantee and a pay range of $25 to $39 per hour, depending on experience and skill.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' automotive repair experience or three years as a military vehicle maintenance specialist.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Preferred ASE A4/A5 certification, state inspection license, or MAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, A/C and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills using the latest technology.
• Mentor teammates and continually learn new techniques as automotive technology evolves.
• Maintain high standards of safety, service, and housekeeping while using protective equipment.
