Job summary

Kerry's Care Care (part of the Sun Auto Network) is hiring an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and repair customer vehicles in accordance with MAP guidelines and company standards. You will explain diagnoses to customers and colleagues, document recommendations, and follow all safety procedures. ASE certifications must be maintained; multi-point inspections guide repair work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.
• Possess current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles per certification/experience level.
• Performs work outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains diagnosis and needed repairs to customers and store staff.
• Recommends services to keep the vehicle running and documents recommendations in the customer file.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.
