Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in New York is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and expert parts knowledge. You will assist customers in-store and over the phone, source parts from multiple channels, and help with inventory, safety, and store opening/closing tasks.

The role requires 3–5 years of auto parts experience, strong English communication, and ASE certification preferred. A valid driver's license is required; benefits include comprehensive health and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Must read and write English; Spanish a plus
• Successfully complete the Parts Knowledge Assessment
• Use basic math for transactions and measurements

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
