Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Rochester Hills is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair vehicles with an emphasis on quality and accuracy. You’ll progress along a path from A-Level to Lead Technician or Technical Manager as the business grows, enjoying a stable, community-focused shop environment.

You will perform advanced diagnostics, drivability work, and complex repairs, with a strong emphasis on correct diagnostics over rushing cars through.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical abilities.
• A-Level / Master-level mechanical skills.
• Transmission experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE certifications are preferred, but proven ability matters more than certificates.

Responsibilities

• Advanced vehicle diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
• Drivability concerns.
• Transmission diagnosis, repair, and replacement.
• Engine diagnosis and major mechanical repair.
• Complex repairs other technicians may not be equipped to handle.
• General A-Level automotive repair when needed.
