Job summary

Honeywell in Houston, TX is seeking an Assembly & Test Tech - Level 2 to join our on-site team. You will participate in the assembly and testing of electronic and mechanical systems, ensuring high quality and reliability across products.

You will report to the Operations Site Manager at our Houston location, collaborating daily with the team to meet safety, quality, and production goals while improving standard work and processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in assembly and testing of electronic or mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of assembly techniques and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency with hand tools and testing equipment used in assembly.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware inspections and run checks to verify functionality.
• Monitor compliance with safety, quality, delivery, cost targets, and space utilization.
• Coordinate with Affiliates and Projects on facilities issues.
• Follow root cause/corrective action processes for issues.
• Provide technical support to resolve failures for Series C Cabinet Test and Dell Station Load Operators.
• Troubleshoot, repair, escalate problems, or redefine procedures.
• Eliminate quality deficiencies and manage replacements per QN procedures.
• Develop and support Standard Work for Regional Factory and solicit input for requirements.
• Meet daily with team to share priorities and critical production information.
• Receive, Good Issue, Pick and assist shipping; create delivery orders and shipping logs.
