Booz Allen is seeking an Advanced Analytics Data Scientist to unlock insights from large data sets using IoT, ML, and AI. You will develop algorithms and systems to turn data points into actionable answers for clients across sectors, including national intelligence.

You will work closely with clients, analyze complex data environments, and apply statistical and machine-learning methods to support decisions, delivering real-world impact and responsible AI usage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining.
• 2+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages, including Python, for data analysis.

Advanced Analytics Data Scientist

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
• 2+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages, including Python, for data analysis
• Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
• Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources

Nice If You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, SQL, or NoSQL
• 2+ years of experience with Distributed data and computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
• 2+ years of experience with Machine Learning, AI, or NLP
• 1+ years of experience working with geospatial and spatiotemporal data
• Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2
• Experience with defense and intelligence data systems and analytical tools
• Experience with software development best-practices, including git and Secure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with modeling and simulation methods, including discrete-event simulation or agent-based modeling
• TS/SCI clearance Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
