Job summary

UF Health seeks a Physician Assistant to support inpatient, emergency, ICU, and clinic services. You will assist physicians, perform rounds, write orders, and coordinate tests while ensuring high-quality patient care.

The role requires a Master’s degree from an accredited PA program, current Florida PA license, and BLS certification; ICU/ED experience is preferred. On-site hospital work with diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited PA program is required.
• Current Florida PA license to practice in the state.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience in ICU or Emergency Medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist attending physicians in inpatient units, including rounds and order writing.
• Provide care in the Emergency Department and chest pain observation unit as assigned.
• Coordinate and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures.
• Make bedside assessments and contribute to daily patient management.
• Support clinic and ICU coverage under supervision of a physician.
