Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Pediatric APRN to lead pediatric nursing initiatives and collaborate with senior leaders to advance care quality. The role involves guiding interprofessional teams, developing policies, and driving evidence-based practice across pediatric inpatient services.
The position requires an MSN APRN with strong data analysis, education, and mentoring skills, plus a Illinois RN license and current BLS/PALS certifications. Travel may be required.
Level of Education: Minimum of Masters of Science in Nursing degree as an APRN Years of Experience: 4 years minimum in area of specialty as APRN. 5 years of RN experience preferred with a minimum of 4 years of experience as an APRN. Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including experience in leading remote teams through the use of technology including video and audio conferencing. Travel may be required. Proficiency with an Electronic Medical Record. Ability to work varying hours to meet the needs of Advocate Aurora Health. Ability to work under stressful conditions in order to meet deadlines.
License/Registration/Certification: National pediatric nursing certification from an accredited body; Current Illinois APRN License; Current Illinois Registered Nurse License; Current BLS certification; Current PALS certification
