Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
• Must be familiar with DSM-V as a means of diagnosis.
• National Provider Identifier required at hire.
• Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire.
• Psychologist License (from any state) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates, and evaluates clinical treatment programs for diagnosis, treatment, and/or referral of Health Plan members with acute or chronic mental illness.
• Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families and groups.
• Instructs and counsels patients and families regarding compliance with prescribed regimens.
• May supervise clinical trainees as necessary.
• Reports safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies.
