Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an adult psychiatrist (BE/BC) to join our Behavioral Health team in Peoria, Illinois. The role focuses on outpatient community-based care with optional medical directorship responsibilities and teaching opportunities through the local residency program.

Ideal candidates will be board-certified or board-eligible in adult psychiatry and participate in a 1:5 inpatient call schedule on weeknights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified in adult psychiatry is required.
• Experience in outpatient community-based psychiatry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient community-based psychiatry services in Peoria, IL.
• Participate in 1:5 inpatient call on weeknights and weekends.
• Engage in teaching opportunities with the University of Illinois College of Medicine - Peoria's psychiatry residency program.
• Possibility to assume Medical Directorship responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $325,000 -$330,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
