Job summary

Nemours Children's Health seeks an Optometrist to provide professional optometry services 8–24 hours per week at our SeniorCare clinic in Milford, DE. This is a Professional Services Agreement, not an employee position.

Responsibilities include vision and eye assessments, prescribing eyeglasses when appropriate, timely EMR documentation, and supervising technical staff involved in patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing to practice Optometry in Delaware.
• Current professional liability coverage.
• 8–24 hours/week availability for SeniorCare clinic in Milford, DE.

Adult Optometrist (Finance)

We are currently seeking an Optometrist to provide professional optometry services for 8-24 hours/week at our SeniorCare clinic in Milford, DE.

This is not an employed position. Services would be provided through a Professional Services Agreement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional optometry services including assessment of patients' vision and eyes, prescribing eyeglasses, as appropriate, refer patients for ophthalmologist evaluation, as appropriate, to patients, 65 years of age or older.
• Properly document and maintain the electronic medical record of patients in a timely manner
• Supervise the clinical performance of technical staff assisting in provision of care
