Abbott is hiring an Acute Care Sales Representative for the Dallas-Fort Worth area within the Adult Nutrition division. The role focuses on driving sales and expanding market share of Ensure®, Glucerna®, Juven®, and specialty products in hospital settings and select outpatient clinics.

You will build relationships with Nutrition Services, Nursing, Quality, and physicians, delivering clinical and economic benefits of Abbott Nutrition to healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2-3+ years of sales or relevant clinical experience.
• Selling experience across a wide range of Health Care Professionals in Hospital setting/environment.
• Clinical/Healthcare experience (RN/RD).
• Strong Business acumen demonstrated through solid understanding of the healthcare landscape.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of acute care accounts and associated clinics.
• Executing strategic sales initiatives designed to exceed established sales goals.
• Work closely with District Manager and cross-functional teams to execute the strategic account plan.
• Prioritizing the utilization of resources to drive ROI.
• Utilizing Abbott Nutrition materials to communicate clinical and economic benefits to healthcare professionals.
• Plan and organize to maximize focus on top priorities.

Our location in Dallas Fort-Worth, TXcurrently has an opportunity for anAcute Care Sales Representativein our Adult Nutrition division.

The primary role of this position is to execute strategies to drive sales and expand product market share of Ensure®, Glucerna®, Juven® and specialty products brands.

Responsible for targeted Hospital accounts also including select Outpatient clinics such as Oncology, Wound and Bariatric accounts. Key stakeholders such as: Nutrition Services, Nursing, Quality, Materials Management, Physicians, and nutrition-related task forces and committees. Responsible for providing current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Abbott products and effectively communicating the clinical and economic benefits.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of acute care accounts, wound clinics, and podiatry offices

• Executing strategic sales initiatives designed to exceed established sales goals.

• Work closely with District Manager and cross-functional / interdisciplinary teams to execute the strategic account plan

• Prioritizing the utilization of resources to drive return on investment

• Utilizing Abbott Nutrition promotional materials and clinical studies to effectively communicate the clinical and scientific benefits of Abbott Nutrition products to targeted healthcare professionals

• Plan and organize to maximize focus on top priorities

Territory

• The ideal candidate should reside in DFW Metroplex

• This territory covers DFW, West Texas, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa

• Travel will include up to 30%

• This position does not offer relocation

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree required

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
