Job summary

A home health care provider is seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide essential care services in the Upper Darby area. Responsibilities include assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, and home management tasks. The position offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $14 to $18 per hour based on qualifications, alongside flexible scheduling and various benefits for eligible employees. Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Direct Home Care experience with another Home Health agency, Hospital or facility.
• Nursing Student who have completed their Clinical Rotations.
• Training can be provided for those who do not meet qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Provide personal care like bathing and grooming.
• Assist with toileting and nail care.
• Conduct range of motion exercises.
• Use mechanical lifting devices for transfers.
• Administer oral feeding and check vital signs.
• Manage home tasks including laundry and meal preparation.
• Assist with ambulation and provide medication assistance.

Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides:

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance

BAYADA offers Home Health Aides (HHAs):

• Base Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 / hour depending on qualifications
• Non-Licensed Home Care Field Employees are eligible for any of BAYADA’s group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits if you work an average of 30 hours per week over a 3-month measurement period.
• Non-Licensed Home Care Field Employees working less than 30 hours per week are eligible for the Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans.
