University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC, seeks an Adult Epileptologist (open rank) to serve as a full-time Neurologist in the Epilepsy division. The candidate will lead clinical care, education, and research activities in epilepsy and help build a growing program.

Ideal candidates hold MD/DO, are board certified/eligible in Neurology with epilepsy specialization, and have fellowship training in clinical epilepsy and EEG monitoring.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree required.
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology; epilepsy/clinical neurophysiology certification preferred.
• Fellowship training in clinical epilepsy, EEG monitoring, and surgical evaluation of epilepsy.
• Experience with evoked potentials and intraoperative monitoring preferred.

The Department of Neurology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine seeks a qualified Adult Epileptologist, open rank, to serve as a full‑time Neurologist in the Epilepsy division. The candidate will lead clinical care, education, and research activities in epilepsy and help build a growing, high‑quality program.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Candidates must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology; additional certification in Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology.
• Fellowship training in clinical epilepsy, EEG monitoring, and surgical evaluation of patients with epilepsy.
• Experience with evoked potentials and intraoperative monitoring preferred.
