Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida, Inc. is seeking an Adult Day Training Instructor to support individuals with I/DD in achieving independence and meaningful lives. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 A.M.

– 4:00 P.M. with no weekends, and compensation is $16.00 hourly in a compassionate, patient-focused environment. The role involves health and safety oversight, daily progress documentation, and active facilitation of classroom activities, guided by a person-centered philosophy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Age 18 or older.
• Must pass a Level II background check.
• Must pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health and safety of all individuals, treating them with kindness, dignity and respect.
• Complete all documentation requirements, including daily notes/service logs and summaries of progress toward established support and implementation plan goals.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, and a calm environment throughout the facility.
• Greet, assist, and escort individuals to their classrooms and all areas within the facility.
• Facilitate classes and activities daily, adhering to the Person-Centered philosophy.
• Assist individuals with meals and with bowel and bladder functions.

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a fun, compassionate and dependable Instructor to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live a meaningful life. We assist individuals with learning self‑advocacy, rights education, health and safety, and developing daily living and job skills.

Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties

Requirements

A minimum of one year of experience working in a medical, psychiatric, nursing or child/adult care setting, or with individuals who have an intellectual and/or developmental disability. College credits or a degree can substitute for time of service.
