Boston Children's Hospital seeks an experienced RN to join the Boston Adult Congenital Heart (BACH) Program for Pulmonary Hypertension and related cardiac care. The role involves direct patient care of adolescents and adults with CHD and pulmonary hypertension, with emphasis on triage, orders routing, and coordination with MD/APP teams.

The position requires MA RN licensure, BLS, and 2+ years in adult or pediatric cardiac care.

Qualificações

• RN with strong clinical assessment skills and ability to triage issues over the phone.
• Experience in adult or pediatric cardiac care preferred.
• Licensure as Registered Nurse in Massachusetts and BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care to adolescent and adult patients in the BACH Program at Boston Children’s and Mass General Brigham.
• Phone triage of routine and urgent concerns in collaboration with APP and MD colleagues.
• Pre-clinic preparation – route orders for diagnostic testing for MD/APP cosign.
• Prescription refills – via phone or e-prescribe to MD/APP prescriber for cosign.
• Support for prior authorizations, referrals, and letters of medical necessity.
• Patient and family education and anticipatory guidance.
• Follow-up calls regarding test results and follow-up recommendations.
• Work 40 hours per week: Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts.
