Job summary

Las Trampas School, Inc. is seeking a CNA/ADP Instructor to deliver direct instructional services and promote independence for adults with developmental disabilities.

You will design and implement lesson plans, supervise assistants, and ensure activities meet ISPs and CMS requirements. The role emphasizes structured teaching, data collection, and community integration, including training in daily living skills and social communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in providing direct services to individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a DMV record that meets agency requirements.
• Ability to pass a criminal background clearance.
• Experience in teaching social skills to individuals with developmental disabilities, with a demonstrated understanding of positive behavior support principles.
• Ability to effectively use a computer and associated productivity software.
• CPR and First Aid performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans with meaningful activities aligned to ISPs and program design.
• Provide structured classroom environment and supervise instructional assistants.
• Offer training in activities of daily living, arts, home economics, communication, and social skills.
• Coordinate data gathering and IPP/ISP progress tracking.
• Support community integration and transport using public transit or Las Trampas vans.
