An established industry player in senior living is seeking a dedicated healthcare manager to oversee operations in a Memory Care community. This full-time role involves ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care while managing staff schedules and training. The ideal candidate will have a valid nursing license and experience in healthcare management. Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity, providing quality care as their healthcare needs change. Maintains consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts, which may involve assuming the roles of Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.
Assists in supervising licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers, providing ongoing training and education through classroom in-services and situation-specific training. Manages staff schedules and oversees medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision and/or administration, conducting periodic medication skills inventory checks and audits in accordance with Brookdale Guidelines.
Shares on-call duties as required. The role requires education to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience. Must hold an LPN or LVN license.
