Job summary

Nazareth Living Care Center is seeking a driven RN to join the team as Assistant Director of Nursing. The role oversees the nursing department, develops policies, and coordinates care for residents in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities include QA oversight, staffing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while leading a team focused on high-quality patient care and safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active RN license in the state where the facility is located.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum two years in a supervisory role in healthcare, with Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Six months experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices preferred.
• Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing facility administration laws.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the nursing department in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain and update policies and procedures governing daily nursing operations.
• Coordinate nursing services with resident care for total care
• Develop and maintain ongoing QA program; participate in surveys and inspections.
• Assist in staffing, recruiting, and ensuring licensure requirements are met.
• Oversee infection control and antibiotic stewardship programs.
