Providence Living Center in Topeka, KS is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our clinical team. The ADON will support daily operations, staff development, and ensure high-quality resident care.

A Kansas RN license and CPR certification are required, with 3+ years in geriatric nursing preferred. We offer a competitive hourly salary ($40–$43/hr) and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, FSA, a 401(k), PTO, life insurance, CEU

Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN license.
• Current certification in adult CPR.
• 3 years of experience, preferably as an Assistant DON or RN Unit Manager in geriatric nursing.
• Medicare and Medicaid knowledge preferred.
• LTC Management Experience with excellent clinical evaluation skills.
• 2+ years of experience as an RN; one year in long-term care preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding long term care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of the day-to-day clinical operations of the community.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensure continuity and quality of resident services.
• Assist in training and development of staff, development and implementation of programs to enhance resident satisfaction.
• Establish a climate necessary for continuous improvement.
