Croydon Council in the Young Croydon Service is hiring a Social Worker to support 11-18-year-olds at risk outside the home. You will work with a dedicated team to reduce risk in the community and help young people reach their potential.

The role offers opportunities for professional growth, systemic practice training, flexible/hybrid working, and a supportive environment focused on safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.

Qualificações

• Qualified Social Worker or Advanced Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• ASYE completed.
• Experience of assessments, plans and interventions.
• Experience in managing complex cases.
• Ability to present cases in court with professionalism and empathy.
• Experience in a statutory setting is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Holding a caseload of young people aged 11-18 facing risk outside of the home.
• Working collaboratively with social workers and adolescent workers to reduce community risk.
• Making assessments, implementing plans, and delivering interventions.
• Managing complex cases and presenting cases in court with professionalism and empathy.
• Supporting young people to achieve their potential and move away from exploitation.
