Job summary

Altior Healthcare seeks a Program Director to oversee Paradigm’s adolescent residential program in Austin, ensuring high-quality clinical services. You will lead psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and direct care staff to support safe, structured care from intake to discharge.

The role requires strong leadership, a Bachelor’s degree, and a Master’s preferred in a related field. A flexible schedule and compliance with regulatory standards are essential as the program continues to grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred in Counseling, MFT, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership/management experience in a residential treatment or behavioral health setting.
• Experience working with adolescents in mental health or substance use treatment is preferred.
• Valid Texas Child Care License is required.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet program and client needs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the residential treatment program.
• Lead and support a multidisciplinary clinical team and integrate core values into client care.
• Coordinate treatment services from intake through discharge with effective communication.
• Supervise program staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and retention.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation per requirements.
• Monitor program performance and productivity to meet quality standards.
• Oversee client safety and crisis management and coordinate referrals.
• Maintain compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and trainings.
• Collaborate with community partners to support program effectiveness.
