The Brook Hospital - KMI in Louisville, KY is seeking Behavioral Health Registered Nurses for day and night shifts. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care, support crisis intervention, and participate in a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services.

• Associate degree in nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment of patients’ psychiatric and medical status.
• Administer medication and medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
• Assess, direct and intervene in crisis situations.
• Initiate and document special treatment procedures.
• Provide and direct milieu management.
• Document nursing care, treatment and patient’s response to treatment.
• Provide health education to patients.
