Job summary

Three Rivers Midlands is seeking a dynamic Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our behavioral health team serving adolescents aged 11-18. The role covers day shift, 7:00am-7:30pm, within a comprehensive residential/ RBH setting, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and competitive benefits.

Certification and SC RN licensure are required, along with experience in child/adolescent psychiatric care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and uphold safety and therapeutic care standards for

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current license and registration by the South Carolina Board of Nurse Examiners as a Registered Nurse.
• Knowledge of general and child/adolescent psychiatric nursing, therapeutic relationships, growth and development, limit-setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors
• BLS Certification required.
• Valid SC Driver's License preferred.
• Thorough familiarity of psych pharmacy & the use of psychotropic medications.
• One year prior child/adolescent psychiatric experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to adolescent residents admitted for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders.
• Serving actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team
• Supporting the organization and program or unit philosophy of care
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of each resident.
