Job summary
Arbour Hospital in Jamaica Plain, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Nurse Manager for the Adolescent Unit to lead the clinical nursing team. This 40-hour, Monday–Friday day shift role offers an opportunity to shape patient care and staff development within a dedicated behavioral health setting.
The RN in MA must have a BSN, an MA RN license, and 1–2 years of nursing experience with supervisory exposure preferred.
Qualifications
- MA RN License is required.
- BSN degree required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience.
- 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversees clinical nursing care, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Provides direct supervision to nurses and subordinate staff.
- Collaborates on development and implementation of department goals and budget.
- Compiles/analyzes data on patient outcomes and quality assurance.
- Participates in team planning related to clinic and emergency planning.
- Analyzes staffing patterns and coordinates recruiting and orientation.
- Conducts performance reviews and provides feedback and coaching.
- Acts as house coverage and collaborates with other disciplines.
