Pyramid Healthcare in New Jersey is seeking a New Jersey Certified Teacher to support adolescents in our Partial Hospitalization Programs in Southern New Jersey. You will provide academic instruction and coordinate with home schools to ensure students stay on track while navigating treatment.

This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly, with salary starting at $55,000/year, based on experience. You will collaborate with clinical staff to support each student’s progress and help them regain

Qualifikationen

• New Jersey State Teacher Certification is required.
• Special Education Certification is preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health or non-traditional educational settings is a plus.
• Ability to adapt instruction for PHP setting.

Aufgaben

• Provide academic instruction and support during scheduled PHP programming.
• Coordinate with home schools to obtain assignments, curriculum, and academic materials.
• Adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and different learning styles.
• Support students with IEPs and 504 Plans by implementing accommodations and modifications.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support each student’s overall development.
• Prepare academic summaries and final grade reports when students transition from the program.
