Job summary

Hidden Creek Recovery & Retreat in Tallapoosa, GA, is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our multidisciplinary team supporting adolescents in residential behavioral health treatment. The position offers compensation of $30–$38 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

You will assess nutrition needs, provide education, and lead groups while collaborating with physicians, therapists, nurses, and culinary staff to support meal planning and treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required.
• Current Georgia dietitian license or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting practice.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, collaborative approach to working with adolescents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition counseling and education tailored to adolescents’ needs.
• Lead nutrition-focused groups that promote practical skills and healthy habits.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other treatment team members.
• Coordinate with culinary staff to support meal planning, dietary accommodations, and individual nutritional needs.
• Monitor nutritional progress and adjust care plans as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
• Provide nutrition education to families and caregivers as appropriate.
