Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a full-time Therapy Aide to support PT, OT and Speech in our neuro adolescent therapy program. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, typically 9:30am–6pm, located downtown at the LAC.

Responsibilities include maintaining therapy spaces, inventory, and assisting with patient care under supervision, with CPR within 60 days of hire. High school diploma required; health care and pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR certification within 60 days of hire required.
• Health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and clean environment; prepares treatment areas for therapy.
• Manages inventory and assists with adaptive equipment, splints, and supplies.
• Assists in transporting patients, records, equipment, and supplies while maintaining confidentiality.
• Performs general office and data collection duties to support department operations.
• Coordinates volunteers and observers of therapy.
• Attends to patients’ personal needs during therapy under direct supervision.
