Job summary

Trinity Youth Services is seeking a Full-Time Mental Health Therapist/Clinician (Associate or Licensed MFT, LCSW, PCC) to join the Mental Health team in California. The role focuses on delivering individual, family, and group therapy to adolescent males in a short-term residential setting and providing crisis intervention and case management for youth and their families.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in counseling; licensed or in the process of licensure is highly desirable.
• Experience working with youth and families; knowledge of child abuse dynamics, family violence and family systems preferred.
• 21+ years old; able to pass a physical exam, drug clearance, background checks, and Child Abuse Index check.
• Valid California driver’s license with clean DMV history and insurable by Trinity’s carrier.
• Interest in working directly with youth as per California Administrative Code, Title 22.
• Clear and concise communication in English; bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialty therapeutic services to adolescent males in a short-term residential program (individual, family, and group therapy) and to other Foster Youth.
• Provide crisis intervention and case management services to children and their families.
• Develop assessments and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the child and family team to implement outcome goals.
• Receive training in mental health service delivery and documentation and certification in evidence-based practices.
