Job summary

Northern Tier Counseling, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Mental Health Worker to join a team providing intensive clinical services to adolescents.

This full-time 10-month position includes benefits and supports the Mental Health Professional in delivering group, family, and individual therapy in the classroom and therapeutic milieu. Responsibilities include charting, treatment planning, coordinating with staff and community resources, and facilitating team-based care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral or social sciences preferred.
• Two years of experience in the mental health field desirable.
• Crisis intervention comfort required.

Responsibilities

• Assume overall treatment responsibility for assigned caseload and participate in treatment planning.
• Identify client needs and develop plans to meet goals as part of treatment planning.
• Maintain timely case records and progress notes for assigned clients.
• Conduct individual therapies and lead group therapy sessions.
• Coordinate with other treatment staff and external agencies as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and staff development.
