Carilion Children’s is western Virginia’s primary pediatric referral center and is anchored by a 60-bed NICU/Intermediate nursery, 8-bed PICU, 24-bed pediatric inpatient unit, Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, dedicated pediatric emergency department, 19 pediatric subspecialty clinics and robust ancillary services, and residency programs including Pediatric, Family Medicine, OB-Gyn, and IM.
