Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health in San Martin, CA is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate to support teens (12-17) through experiential therapies and structured activities on-site. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to guide adolescents toward sustainable mental wellness while maintaining clear boundaries and empathy.

Position requires a valid driver’s license, 21+ age, and HS diploma or GED; EMTs welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to work independently.
• Age 21+ years.
• Education: HS diploma or GED; advanced degrees preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis management to support clients.
• Build meaningful, supportive relationships with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Review and apply treatment team strategies daily to drive client progress.
• Embrace being a positive role model with empathy and intentionality to support client growth.
• Contribute to a clean, welcoming environment by campus upkeep and assisting with chores.
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation of client interactions and staff interventions.
