Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions in New York seeks an experienced AEM Developer to join the team. You will leverage AEM 6.4+ to design and implement components, work with Sling models and servlets, and integrate with Java backends and REST/SOAP services.

You will collaborate with frontend teams (JS/CSS/HTML5/Angular/React), support DevOps pipelines, and contribute to Agile SCRUM processes in a financial services context.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years as an AEM developer.
• Expert-level experience in AEM, Java 8+, and object-oriented design and development.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases and development (SQL, Sybase).
• Working knowledge of web technologies across client/server-side (JS, CSS, HTML5, Angular/React).
• Unix bash scripting and/or Python knowledge.
• Agile/Scrum methodology familiarity.
• DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience.

1. Strong AEM concepts specifically on sling models vs sling servlets

2. understanding of key backend annotations and their usage

3. scenario based understanding of multi site manager and its implementation-

Skill Set:

· AEM 6.4 or above, - strong knowledge of AEM queries, AEM Workflow launchers, Assests API

· Java 8 or above, Gradle, REST, SOAP, Spring Boot, JDBC

· Database: Sybase or SQL Server, PL/SQL

Job Description / Experience

· Financial Services industry experience will be considered an advantage
