Job summary

Freeman Health in Joplin, MO is seeking an Admissions team member to ensure patients are registered promptly and accurately, upholding EMTALA requirements and treating every patient as the hospital's first impression.

You will work on the main admissions hub, coordinate with the Level II trauma center, and contribute to the timely collection of patient accounts while supporting a flexible schedule and comprehensive training.

Evening Shift 1:30pm - 9:30pm

Night shift 9:30pm- 5:30am

What You'll Do

Assure all patient types accessing admissions via the main admissions hub and level II trauma center are processed timely and accurately. Responsible for hospital's first impression while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. Responsible for complying with EMTALA when registering patients during the triage and bedside registration process. Ensures collectability of patient accounts through the admissions process securing all information needed for the collection process.
