Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, CA, is seeking an experienced Registration Clerk to interview patients and guarantors to obtain necessary information for hospital treatment. You will collect patient financial responsibility at the time of service.

The role requires reading and interpreting safety rules and procedures, accurate data entry, and strong telephone skills. Two years' hospital or related medical office experience is preferred, with CPI training within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Two years of hospital or related medical field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of office procedures, including telephone skills, medical terminology, typing, insurance requirements and collection practices.
• Ability to be responsible for all emergency and outpatient registrations and communicate information to patients and staff.
• General education level is required.
• CPI certification required within 30 days of hire.
